Linden honey is produced by bees from the nectar of flowers linden tree, called scientific Tilia. Its color varies from light yellow to deep orange. It has a sweet woody odor  which can be recognized more easily. This type of honey crystallizes  very quickly, especially in a cold environment.

Linden honey is smooth, but at the beginning of autumn gets a viscous appearance. In status crystallized, looks creamy, buttery with large crystals and white. Linden honey crystallized is much sweeter than the liquid. Flavor to this variety  of honey is so strong that must be mixed with other types of honey, especially honey polyfloral.

Therapeutic qualities:

Linden honey is considered to be one of the best varieties of honey. It is very rich in vitamins, especially those in the complex B, amino acids and pollen  It has a content of pollen very high, because of this is not recommended persons showing allergy to pollen.

Linden honey has properties anti-septic and because of this is used to treat colds flu, cough, and bronchitis. It dissolves mucus and cleans the neck. Also, this type of honey it is recommended  to people  who suffer from stress and insomnia. A little bit of linden honey, in the evening before going to bed is better than anything. Its properties anti-inflammatory and anti-septic make it ideal to treat cramps and renal problems,also.
